About Bridle Oak Ragdolls

georgia & betty

Hi! I'm Georgia.

Some of my earliest memories are of animals. From working cattle with my grandparents to growing up with a menagerie of pets at home, they've always been an important part of my life and family. My very first companions were a Dachshund named Patton and a cat named Monet.

My family owns and operates a cattle ranch in West Texas that has been in our family for more than 100 years. Growing up, I helped raise cattle and horses, learning early the responsibility—and privilege—that comes with caring for animals.

After a long career in politics and strategic communications, I became a business owner and founded Foresight Strategies. Years later, I also founded Bridle Oak Farm & Estate, a place where my lifelong love of animals, beautiful homes, and intentional living could finally come together.

In 2017, I inherited a Ragdoll mix named Marvin, along with two tabbies, Louis and Dewey. Looking back, I can honestly say they changed my life.

During some of my most difficult years living with chronic illness, they were my constant companions—offering comfort, quiet company, and unconditional love. They showed me that cats are more than pets. They become part of your everyday life and, before long, part of the family.

That experience inspired Bridle Oak Ragdolls.

Today, I live on a small farm in southern Tennessee, where I'm building a slower, more intentional life centered on faith, stewardship, and the joy that animals bring.

Bridle Oak Ragdolls grew from a journey I never expected to take—a place where I have the privilege of thoughtfully raising healthy, well-socialized companions and sharing the remarkable joy of the Ragdoll breed with other families.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you find the right companion for your family.
